Education

At GVFoundation our education program is in line with the mission of the foundation empowerment initiative. Hence, we took off with the Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics-Medicine (STEM-M) program in 2018. The STEM-M program focuses on final year secondary school students in public schools, in which the gifted students are given scholarships that covers their external examination fees and our mentored in making sure they secure admissions to further their studies at the university level. We are proud to announce that will be conducting our third annual STEM-M scholarship program this year very soon. Also, we initiated the Victoria Solape Nursing scholarship (VSNS) program. This program is available to students who are interested in making nursing a lifelong career. We encourage such students who have been admitted or already in a nursing program to apply. The VSNS programs offers 25%, 50% and 75% of nursing students tuition in public nursing programs respectively, while renewal of scholarship is available depending on the students academic performance. In addition, GVFoundation will be launching the book club meet. This book club will encourage the active mind to read, meditate, impact and challenge curious individuals. Books will be selected quarterly, and individuals will read the selected books and turn in their reflective report. The best written driven purposeful report will be rewarded with a Gift prize and a pillar award. Please be on the lookout! The first season TBA. Furthermore, we are trusting God and looking for philanthropist who will share in our dreams in bringing back the lost glory days of our public-school systems. This Operation Equip� will be tailored towards working hand in hand with our public schools at both the primary and secondary level by providing science teachers, textbooks and well-equipped science laboratories that will help to facilitate the performance of our science students at all levels. Finally, we cannot but thank our teachers who are doing their best, despite all the odds in making sure students are well educated and prepared for their future endeavors. Hence, we do host Teachers Annual award night. In which teachers who have gone beyond barely minimum, in doing their best in making sure students are well taught.
