Scholarship Program for Arts and Social Science (SPASS)

SPASS as earlier stated is a scholarship Program for Arts and Social Science students. The Scholarship started a few years after STEM in a bid to include Art and Social Science Students in the scholarship programs of the foundation. While STEM examination is conducted physically, SPASS is done virtually. The online examination is to test the critical thinking and writing skills of these students. A total number of one hundred and twenty (120) schools participated in this year’s SPASS program. Thorough scrutiny was done by our team of scholars to select the best three students who were later invited for an oral interview, to determine their critical thinking reasoning, analytical processes and communication skills which will, in turn, be the final determinant of positions i.e. first, second, and third.

The SPASS winners were also given scholarship to cover all external examination in the same order as the STEM.

This year SPASS winners are listed below:

1. Odusola Emmanuel from Osogbo Grammar School, Osogbo

2. Adebayo Fawaz from Ede High School, Ede and

3. Micheal Comfort Oluwadarasimi from Iwoye-Ijesha Grammar School, Iwoye-Ijesa.

The STEM program has the additional advantage of an undergraduate program package at Ashesi University, an American based curriculum university in Ghana. This is due to our affiliation with the University. We do hope to partner with more universities across the globe.
